Our live, virtual and remote platform for high-tech manufacturing, SmartLabs allows students to deploy their skills on real-world equipment and get hands-on experience.
Designed to give students holistic experience across manufacturing, learners engage with all levels of industrial automation and integration. SmartLabs workshops involve extracting insights from sensors in warehouse systems, IIOT on the factory floor, digitalisation, control and simulation technologies, and distilling process understanding to support decision making and develop business insights in real-time.

SmartLabs Remote – students asynchronously learn to remotely configure and connect to real equipment and processes, run experiments and processes remotely, view and share data in real-time
SmartLabs Virtual – Digital Twins and simulations of processes. Students learn to configure and connect to virtual equipment and processes, model, simulate and run virtual process simulations. Learners develop virtual automation and control strategies, view and share simulated process data in real-time.
